This sometimes can occur due to a few reasons and would recommend the following steps are taking to ensure this does not happen again.

  1. Check and confirm you have the latest version of iTunes installed on your computer. If not, please download and install the latest version.
  2. Check if you have enough free space on your hard drive.
  3. Check if the device has been disconnected or disrupted during the scanning process.
  4. Check your task manager by holding 'control, alt & delete' and see how much 'CPU/Memory' your computer is using while running Enigma Recovery as sometimes the over use of your computers CPU can cause the software to crash.
