When a device is restored to its default state or undergoes a factory reset, the data on the device is essentially removed and becomes irretrievable. For this reason, our software is not compatible with iOS devices that have been restored to factory settings and scanning a restored phone with Enigma Recovery will not recover deleted data from the device.
Rest assured however, that there are alternative solutions available if you find yourself in this situation! If you have been backing up your device either to iCloud or iTunes, then your efforts are about to pay off. From within the Enigma Recovery software, select ‘Recover from iTunes backup’ or ‘Recover from iCloud’ and allow the software to scan your backup files for data, which has been deleted from your device.
